Stanowisko: iSeries RPG Developer

Our Client is an international research and medical technology company from US, extending its Development Center in Wrocław, with offices in over 40 countries worldwide, producer of broad range of laboratory equipment, diagnostic products, medical devices. On their behalf, we are currently looking for iSeries Developer and Senior iSeries Developer with good knowledge of RPG.

• working with the IT Business Analysts in defining the system design specifications
• building development objects based on technical specifications
• defining data specific end-to-end test scenarios and developing test cases
• performing unit testing of developed objects
• preparing technical documentation
• resolving errors in development objects and resolving issues identified in functional integration and user acceptance testing

Technical experience:

• min. 2 years experience with developing RPG (III, IV)
• some experience in administration and configuration of iSeries / AS400
• strong written and verbal communication skills and good knowledge of English

Functional experience:

• experience with developing enterprise grade software
• experience with source control management systems and continuous integration/deployment environments
• experience with (automated) testing methodologies
• experience with classic waterfall (V-model) development methodologies
• knowledge of infrastructure (hardware, operating systems, database management systems, etc..) is a plus
